The week starts with a heightened risk of severe weather beginning this afternoon. All modes of severe weather are possible, with damaging winds and large hail the primary hazard, though isolated tornadoes are possible. In addition, heavy rainfall is expected with some locations receiving one inch or greater rainfall. The threat of storms will end by late evening. Calmer conditions are expected for Tuesday, but more storm chances return for Wednesday and Thursday. Isolated severe weather is possible. A nice day ends the workweek. High temperatures generally will be in the 60s and 70s, with lows in the 40s and 50s.
